Job summary

Element Resources DE LLC seeks a Manager, Maintenance Projects to lead reliability, electrical and automation improvements across sites. The role is regional with 25% travel and is 50% hands-on on the plant floor, reporting to the Director of Engineering.

The position supports maintenance, engineering and production teams, develops preventive strategies, and manages contractor work and project budgets. Home-based from any Element facility is possible.

Qualifications

• Extensive industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong Industrial electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Qualified industrial electrician
• Strong welding and fabrication background.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Familiarity with industrial controls, motors, VFDs, instrumentation, and PLC-controlled equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to identify practical solutions to equipment problems.
• Ability to plan and manage technical projects.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated leadership ability or potential to develop into a management position.

Responsibilities

• Identify recurring equipment problems and develop permanent corrective solutions.
• Lead or participate in root-cause analysis of significant equipment failures.
• Evaluate equipment performance and recommend reliability improvements.
• Assist in developing preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
• Review maintenance history to identify repetitive failures and improvement opportunities.
• Work with Maintenance, Engineering, and Production to improve equipment availability and maintainability.
• Recommend equipment modifications, replacements, and upgrades when appropriate.
• Develop practical solutions for equipment modifications and plant improvements.
• Provide technical direction for welding and fabrication projects.
• Coordinate technical discussions with equipment manufacturers and contractors.
• Review proposed equipment and repair solutions.
• Assist with project cost estimates and budgets.
• Coordinate installation and commissioning activities.
• Verify completed work meets plant expectations and applicable standards.
• Maintain project documentation and communicate project status to plant leadership.
