Job summary

You will ensure projects stay on time, within budget, and compliant with food-safety standards, while developing specifications, cost estimates, and ROI analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (ME/AE/ChE) or equivalent.
• 10+ years experience in Engineering or Industrial Maintenance.
• Formal training/certification in Project Management.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements in the food industry.
• Knowledge of meat production equipment and facility design.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, technical writing, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineers, consultants, contractors in large domestic capital projects across electrical, environmental, facilities, process, and refrigeration.
• Keep projects on schedule, within scope, and on budget; implement improvements to meet standards.
• Develop specifications, procedures, and policies across multiple engineering disciplines; perform inspections and audits.
• Prepare plans, cost estimates, and ROI reports for capital projects and ensure designs meet specs.
• Coordinate cross-functionally across safety, HR, operations, and procurement; communicate with international teams.
• Lead training and development for staff and manage budget controls within the department.
