Job summary

The State of North Carolina Department of Transportation is seeking an Engineer III to support the Maintenance Programs Team within State Maintenance Operations. You will supervise personnel, manage statewide programs, and deploy ArcGIS-based tools for project delivery.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in engineering and four years of progressively responsible experience; PE registration may be required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support statewide maintenance programs and coordinate related projects.
• Supervise personnel managing Inmate Labor, Motor Fleet, and State Parks coordination.
• Deploy ArcGIS-based tools and resources to aid program delivery.
• Coordinate with HR to administer LMS-based training and contract training.
