Job summary

Akima Global Logistics (AGL) is seeking a Production Control Clerk to coordinate and track maintenance production activities, ensuring accurate data and compliant documentation. You will liaison between maintenance, customers, and management to improve readiness and service delivery.

Responsibilities include tracking work orders, monitoring schedules, and preparing reports on production metrics. A strong focus on data integrity and customer service is essential in this on-site role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year in administrative, clerical, maintenance support, logistics, or production control.
• Experience with Army maintenance systems is preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Strong organizational skills and data-entry accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Compile, record, maintain, and analyze production and maintenance data.
• Track work orders from receipt through completion with documentation.
• Monitor production schedules to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
• Maintain maintenance records per Army regulations and company policies.
• Prepare reports on production volume, work order status, and readiness.
• Coordinate with supervisors, mechanics, QA, and customers to prioritize actions.
• Review work orders for accuracy and proper coding before closure.
• Enter maintenance documentation into automated systems accurately.
• Support parts status tracking and timely equipment repairs.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding maintenance status.
