Job summary

Cleveland-Cliffs, a leading North America-based steel producer, seeks a Process Manager Maintenance at the New Carlisle facility to lead maintenance activities and drive continuous improvement. You will coach self-directed teams, prioritize tasks, and ensure safety and environmental compliance in a 24/7 operation.

Ideal candidates are hands-on, collaborative, and ready to seize opportunities to develop themselves while coordinating cross-functional maintenance within budget.

Qualifications

• Applicants for this position must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Solid analytical ability and the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
• Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization.
• Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, advanced Excel skills, and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Serve as performance coach and technical advisor to the self-directed maintenance teams.
• Prioritize and coordinate maintenance tasks cross-functionally within budget.
• Ensure safety training and environmental compliance.
• Facilitate continuous improvement of maintenance planning and scheduling processes.
• Coach and counsel team members on safety, environmental management, attendance, and work rules; interpret Collective Bargaining Agreement language.
• Track team metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Lead and facilitate team meetings and communications on safety, environmental, maintenance, quality, budget, or training topics.
• Identify development needs and implement training or process improvements.
• Identify equipment deficiencies and work with operations to improve reliability.
• Other duties as assigned.
