Job summary

Mary's Woods, a nonprofit senior living community in Lake Oswego, Oregon, is seeking a Maintenance Porter to join our Facility Services team. You will assist with deliveries, general maintenance, and cleanup of buildings and grounds to create a safe, beautiful community for residents and their guests.

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience equivalent to the completion of a High School Diploma
• Must have a current valid drivers license

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting with the set-up and clean-up for special functions at Mary's Woods
• Empty trash and recycle bins
• Deliver mail and packages to residents, sisters, and employees
• Ensure that all areas remain neat and free of litter
• Perform “trash-out” duties at vacated apartments, removing all abandoned furniture, trash, boxes, etc.
• Perform routine maintenance on property efficiently to respond to the needs of Mary's Woods

Job description

Mary's Woods is looking for a Maintenance Porter to join our Facility Services team. As a Maintenance Porter, you will be part of the team that is responsible for deliveries, general maintenance, and clean-up of the buildings and grounds of Mary's Woods. You will be contributing to the maintenance, upkeep, and operations of the premises to create a safe and beautiful community for residents and their guests to enjoy. You must be able to relate positively and favorably to staff, residents, and families, and enjoy working on a team.

Mary's Woods is a non‑profit senior living community founded in 2001. We offer independent living, assisted living, memory care and residential care in a park‑like setting on 40 acres in Lake Oswego. We pride ourselves on our rich heritage, spirit of caring and welcoming culture. We are seeking passionate team members to join us in fulfilling our mission and values.

Below are some of the core responsibilities, experience, and skills needed to be successful:

Pay:

From $18.50 per hour

The starting wage depends on experience, certification and education.

Schedules Available

• Tuesday to Saturday from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

This is a full-time position that will include working weekends, evenings and holidays.
