New Weds Foods in Mount Pleasant, TX, is seeking a Maintenance technician for the 2nd shift (3:00pm - 11:00pm). You will work with Maintenance, Production, and Sanitation teams to keep equipment and facilities running smoothly.

The role requires the ability to work indoors/outdoors in heat or cold and at elevated areas. Background checks and drug screening may be required.

Formación

• Forklift and HVAC repair experience preferred.
• 1-5 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Maintenance jargon and Best Practices Knowledge; OSHA, safety, etc.
• Working knowledge of GMP, OSHA and Production needs.
• Proven ability to work in a team as well as independently.

Responsabilidades

• Work with and assist Maintenance, Production & Sanitation personnel.
• Requires working inside/outside, in the heat/cold, including elevated areas (ex. roof/silos).
• Conduct forklift battery changes.
• Clean / detail forklifts.
• Perform facility painting as needed.
• Replace HVAC filters & wash coils.
• Ensure proper lighting is maintained throughout the facility by ensuring bulbs are replaced timely.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and cleaning of facility exhaust & supply fans.
• Perform basic facility maintenance as assigned.
• Record maintenance data as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor & Manager to monitor equipment performance.
• Identify and report equipment concerns to the Maintenance Manager.
• Participate in overtime assignments as required.
• Provide “on call” coverage as needed.
• Perform other various duties as assigned.
