WakeMed Health & Hospitals is seeking a Maintenance Plumber to maintain and repair plumbing and related systems within our hospital facilities. The role requires reading blueprints and ensuring patient safety and comfort through responsive maintenance support.

Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, repairing components, and documenting work in the hospital work order system. A High School diploma or equivalent and at least five years of plumbing or facilities maintenance

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 5 years' plumbing experience or 5 years in facilities maintenance required.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain plumbing systems including water, sewer, medical gas, and related equipment.
• Repair and troubleshoot system components such as back flows, pumps, and fixtures.
• Read and interpret construction blueprints for troubleshooting.
• Log daily work in the work order system and document parts and time.
• Communicate compassionately with staff and patients during their stay.
