Job summary

WakeMed Health & Hospitals seeks a skilled Maintenance Plumber to maintain and repair domestic water, sewer, storm water, and associated systems. You will read blueprints, operate specialized plumbing tools, and document daily work in a computerized system while interacting compassionately with staff and patients.

The role requires at least five years of plumbing or facilities maintenance experience, and a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 5 Years Plumbing Required - Or 5 Years Facilities Maintenance Required.
• Must be able to read construction blueprints used in troubleshooting these systems and equipment.
• Ability to interact with staff and patients during their stay.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of domestic water, sewer, storm water, and related plumbing systems.
• Operate pro-press machine, sewer augers and general plumbing tools.
• Log daily production/work in a work order system with time, equipment repairs, and parts.
