Job summary

JLL is seeking a Maintenance Plumber in Jacksonville, FL for a temporary position with Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM schedule. The role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in accordance with codes, plans, and base requirements.

A valid plumbing license is required to work on base, with education including a high school diploma and preferred additional training. This position emphasizes hands-on work with pipes, fittings, and fixtures, along with routine testing

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Desired: Two years of advanced education or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install and repair pipes, fittings and fixtures per specs and codes.
• Study plans to determine work aids and installation sequence.
• Inspect structures for obstructions and ensure safe installations.
• Mark pipe locations and openings in walls/floors.
• Cut openings and thread pipes using tools.
• Install and test piping systems for leaks.
• Install fixtures such as sinks, water heaters and disposals.
• Replace washers and repair leaky faucets.
