Job summary

TS Conductor Corp. is seeking a Maintenance/PLC Technician in Hardeeville, SC to oversee daily preventative maintenance, troubleshoot PLCs and electrical systems, and support facility upgrades. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and minimizing downtime on manufacturing equipment.

You will collaborate with engineering and production teams, maintain detailed maintenance records, and mentor junior staff while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as Maintenance and PLC Technician in manufacturing.
• Proficiency diagnosing and repairing electrical systems, including PLC inverters.
• Strong understanding of industrial machinery and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities; able to train others.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and adapt to changing needs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety is a primary focus and reduce risks through procedures and updates.
• Improve production processes via predictive and preventative maintenance.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery; troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
• Inspect systems to identify problems and address them proactively.
• Diagnose and repair electrical components, including motors, switches, sensors, and PLC inverters.
• Install, calibrate, and program PLC inverters to optimize performance.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams on upgrades and modifications.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and parts replaced.
• Support facility maintenance and expansion projects as needed.
• Follow safety protocols for a safe working environment.
• Mentor and train entry-level team members.
