Position Overview
Our team is currently looking for a Maintenance Planning Tech: IV for one of our clients in the LNG Industry.
The position is identified as Planner Analyzer & Measurement. The Planner is responsible for Planning all maintenance activities and ensuring maintenance is planned on a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis in SAP S/4 HANA for all equipment. The Planner will develop annual and long-term work plans. This position will use SAP generated reports to plan maintenance in most efficient way possible by looking at capacity of craft technicians, equipment availability and production schedules, which include both scheduled work orders and corrective work orders. Additionally, they will be responsible for creating new work plans when devices require more frequent scheduled maintenance and review work status on a weekly basis, while ensuring all finished open work orders are set as complete at end of month. The Planner will provide support to the preparation of budgets, provide supporting documentation, and will participate in strategy development and reviews.
The Planner/Scheduler is a DOT covered position (PHMSA).
The Planner Routine Maintenance receives administrative work guidance and career development through the Maintenance organization. Functional expertise and individual craft knowledge are gained through networking with the local maintenance organizations.
Technical Leadership
- Develop and maintain job plans for inspection, testing, repair, and replacement of equipment.
- Coordinate with operations, engineering, and inspection teams to prioritize maintenance work.
- Identify, codify, and update required materials, tools, and services in SAP and ensure the availability of spare parts for Maintenance Execution.
- Maintain asset registry and history, including records and certifications
- Define work method, activities, resources, material, and logical sequence to execute maintenance activities. Track performance metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all work is executed safely and efficiently.
- Work with interfacing tools and ensure timely completion of Regulatory work and record.
- Effectively communicate across various levels of work force within and outside the company i.e., 3rd party contractor, working level teams and asset leadership.
Reliability and Optimization
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and site standards.
- Drive reliability improvement initiatives.
- Analyze failure data and share learnings with Engineering teams for optimization.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance to optimize Calibration, inspection and testing intervals based on historical data analysis.
Compliance and Documentation
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, API, ASME, and local regulations.
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with audit requirements.
- Prepare and review inspection and certification reports.
- Ensure proper documentation for work orders is in place.
Mentorship and Training
- Coach engineers and technicians on best practices.
- Conduct training sessions on maintenance and safety.
- Develop competency matrices for planning-related roles.
Innovation and Technology
- Explore and implement digital tools for equipment health monitoring.
- Standardized formats and data for equipment details.
Qualifications (Education, Experience, & Skills)
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED. Technical Degree or similar is a plus.
- 10 years’ relevant work experience required
Business and Technical Skills Required:
- Extensive working knowledge of SAP S4 HANA.
- Strong knowledge and experience in Planning, Scheduling and Execution processes, procedures, and best practices in Analyzer and Measurement equipment.
- Strong knowledge of the various types of Analyzers and Measurement equipment in the facility.
- Scheduling software definition and build experience is a plus.
- A strong working relationship and collaborative partner in the interactions of maintenance activities and performance in conjunction with reliable, sustained operations.
- Collaborate with Engineering in development and design and modification of all terminal equipment.
Competency Skills Required:
- Experience with project planning software such as MS project or Primavera P6 is a plus.
- Planning small to medium scale projects.
- Experience with scaffolding, painting, insulation, heavy equipment operation-rigging/lifting crafts, welding, fabrication, machining work estimation and planning.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience working in a PHMSA regulated Pipeline facility preferred.
