Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree or technical training in Maintenance, Industrial Technology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in maintenance planning or related roles preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with maintenance, production, and vendor partners.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate daily with maintenance and production supervisors to plan work.
• Assign work based on equipment availability and daily schedules.
• Order parts for jobs not in stock.
• Evaluate each work request for scheduling and parts needs.
• Review backlog and prioritize with maintenance supervisors.
• Convert work requests into work orders.
• Run weekly PM printouts for the upcoming week.
• Assign PM tasks and track open PM work orders.
• Monitor downtime and adjust PM frequency as needed.
• Maintain daily report of critical un scheduled work.
• Coordinate with department heads to adjust priority.
• Ensure parts are on hand before issuing work orders.
