Job summary

ARES is seeking a Maintenance Planning and Support Specialist at NASA's Wallops Flight Facility in Wallops Island, VA. The role provides maintenance scheduling, planning, data management, and administrative support to ensure safe and efficient maintenance operations; close collaboration with Maintenance Management, supervisors, planners, technicians, and other functions.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, analytical, proficient in Excel, and familiar with CMMS such as IBM

Qualifications

• Excel proficiency required to develop, maintain, analyze, and present maintenance data.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience with CMMS/Maximo preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update weekly, monthly, and long-range maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate scheduled maintenance activities with supervisors, technicians, operations and stakeholders.
• Monitor scheduled work to ensure activities are properly planned, prioritized, and executed.
• Enter, update, and maintain maintenance data within the CMMS; monitor data accuracy.
• Develop reports and dashboards to monitor maintenance performance and KPI trends.
