Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance planning and scheduling for the Wisconsin facility. You will collaborate with operating departments, assemble work packages, and develop shutdown plans for major equipment.

Your role includes coordinating staffing, materials, and contractor work while tracking costs and maintaining safety and discipline. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, good organizational and communication skills, and experience leading

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude with electrical skills a plus.
• Excellent organization and communication abilities.
• Ability to perform under time constraints and multi-task.
• Ability to lead and train hourly and salaried staff.

Responsibilities

• Screen and prioritize maintenance work orders with department input.
• Establish personnel and material requirements for work orders.
• Assemble work instruction packages for crews.
• Develop schedules and Gantt charts for shutdowns and outages.
• Coordinate with operating department and maintenance supervisor.
• Communicate costs of maintenance tasks to departments.
• Support contractor maintenance and mill installations.
• Participate in hiring of hourly and salaried personnel.
• Provide maintenance support and aid in achieving goals.
• Maintain discipline and engage in training leadership skills.
