Job summary

Simtra BioPharma Solutions in Bloomington, Indiana seeks a Maintenance Planning & Materials Manager to lead the site’s maintenance work management program, ensuring planning, scheduling, CMMS governance, and cost optimization to maximize equipment reliability and GMP compliance.

You will oversee the Maintenance Planning, CMMS Administration, and MRO teams, coordinating with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain, and drive KPI reporting and continuous improvement in preventive and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; 5+ years of relevant experience.
• 7+ years in maintenance planning, reliability, or maintenance.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or GMP manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with CMMS systems.
• Experience managing maintenance planning, scheduling, shutdowns, MRO inventory, contractor coordination, and maintenance metrics.
• Strong knowledge of preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Own maintenance work management process, including planning, scheduling and governance.
• Lead scheduling meetings and coordinate priorities across multiple functions.
• Develop and report maintenance KPIs such as PM compliance and backlog.
• Ensure CMMS data integrity and asset hierarchy governance.
• Lead MRO storeroom operations and inventory strategy.
• Coordinate shutdown planning and readiness activities.
