Job summary

Golden State Foods is seeking a PM Maintenance Planner to improve productivity by planning and coordinating maintenance work, materials, and equipment access. You will develop PM tasks, manage CMMS backlog, and collaborate with operations to balance output with reliability.

Responsibilities include leading PM scheduling, liaising with vendors, preparing job packages, and ensuring safety compliance. A forklift cert within 30 days is expected, with a strong maintenance background preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in a food manufacturing facility.
• 1 year of experience in purchasing or similar duties.
• 1 year of experience in interacting with customers / Customer service.
• Forklift certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Plan maintenance activities that support Production and associated areas.
• Regular analysis of backlog relative to available resources.
• Ensure timely, efficient, and quality service for internal beneficiaries of Maintenance.
• Balance daily output with equipment reliability through proactive maintenance.
• Develop expertise with CMMS and create/maintain PM tasks for assets.
• Lead daily and weekly PM scheduling meetings and coordinate with vendors/contractors.
• Verify work order inventory and pre-stage parts for work orders.
• Incorporate safety into all aspects of the position.
