Job summary

Graymont is seeking a Plant Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to organize all maintenance activities at the Wisconsin plant. You will plan and schedule work for electricians, mechanics, and contractors while aligning with the Maintenance Excellence Strategy.

You will work with maintenance and production supervisors to build weekly and long-term plans, prioritize tasks, and coordinate plant shutdowns. A strong background in CMMS, safety, and cost control is essential.

Qualifications

• College degree plus 5 years’ experience, or Journeyman with 10+ years heavy industrial experience.
• Experience with CMMS in an industrial operation.
• Proven planning, prioritizing, and organizational skills.
• High level of computer skills (JDE, Excel and MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule maintenance for electricians, mechanics, and contractors.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production supervisors to develop weekly and long-term schedules.
• Plan preventative and corrective maintenance work orders and plant shutdowns.
• Define safe work procedures, PPE, tools, and equipment for work orders.
• Estimate job hours and required parts for planned work orders.
• Maintain CMMS records and train personnel on CMMS usage.
• Manage repair and maintenance costs to budget.
• Participate in on-call duties and maintain safety, environment, quality standards.
