Job summary

Tamarack Foods, a Georgia foods manufacturing company based in Americus, Georgia, is seeking a full-time Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to manage maintenance programs, inventory, and CMMS-driven work orders. This role reports to the Maintenance Manager and supports multiple groups across the company.

The ideal candidate has project coordination experience, relevant certifications (CPM/CAPM/PMP), strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team while meeting tight

Qualifications

• Project coordinator/support experience preferred.
• CPM/CAPM/PMP or similar certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn other programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage parts and consumable inventory through the MPulse CMMS system.
• Cross reference, identify or specify substitution parts/components as necessary.
• Manage the Preventative Maintenance program and assign work orders to maintenance technicians.
• Develop parts kits for planned maintenance work orders.
• Generate inventory reports, projections and quotes.
• Maintain and monitor project plans, schedules, hours, budgets, and expenditures.
• Assist in maintaining relationships with internal and external customers and contacts.
• Research continuous improvement initiatives, programs, upgrades, and regulatory requirements.
• Assess project risks and provide solutions.
• Prepare status, compliance and other reports and maintain databases.
• Provide administrative support and perform other duties as assigned.
• Facilitate meetings, document responsibilities and minutes and distribute to team.
