Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred; equivalent industrial maintenance planning, reliability, or CMMS experience will be considered.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in industrial maintenance planning, maintenance operations, reliability, mechanical/electrical maintenance, or a combination of education and relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule skilled maintenance labor requirements for PM/PdM, planned repairs, shutdown work, and safety-critical maintenance activities; the Maintenance Supervisor retains responsibility for directing and managing maintenance personnel.
• Knowledge of CMMS to manage PM planning and scheduling, MRO, work orders, and Preventive/Predictive maintenance.
• Own CMMS data quality for maintenance planning including equipment profiles, PM/PdM schedules, BOMs, job plans, labor estimates, parts, and work history.
• Maintain and prioritize the maintenance backlog based on safety, quality, delivery, and cost impact; track backlog age and readiness.
• Develop and maintain weekly maintenance schedule with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering; ensure planned work is ready before scheduling.
• Define scope, labor, parts, drawings, safety requirements, contractor support, and duration for planned work.
• Develop and maintain critical spare parts lists, equipment BOMs and min/max stocking; identify risks to spare availability.
• Review downtime and history to identify recurring failures and work with Maintenance/Engineering on corrective actions.
• Ensure major work orders include failure info, corrective action, labor hours, parts, and downtime for reliability analysis.
• Track KPIs: PM compliance, schedule compliance, planned vs unplanned work, backlog age, repeat failures, critical spare availability.
• Identify opportunities to reduce maintenance cost and increase equipment availability.
• Write procedures for Preventive Maintenance tasks using CMMS; navigate CMMS to schedule Planned Work.
