Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and follow directions.
• Regular attendance and positive interactions with others.
• Adherence to company core values.
• Ability to stand up to 100% of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work on a computer 50% of time.
• Knowledge of mechanical crafts and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Promote safe work habits and improvements to safety procedures and goals.
• Ensure equipment, parts and personnel are available through procurement and inventory management.
• Prioritize and plan work with operations based on equipment and safety considerations.
• Create and delegate daily work orders from maintenance plans.
• Review work orders for discrepancies and formally close them.
• Provide technical advice on equipment modifications and time estimates.
• Collect data on equipment breakdowns and improve maintenance programs.
• Coordinate outside contractors for special projects.
• Develop weekly resource schedules and ongoing improvements.
• Order replacements and spare parts; maintain inventories and vendor systems.
• Identify unknown parts and locate suppliers; monitor vendor performance.
• Train team on inventory control and work order processes.
