Job summary

Clean Harbors in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Maintenance Planner to support our diesel repair team. You will schedule maintenance for multiple shops, prepare work orders, and coordinate with vendors and procurement to maximize asset availability.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in maintenance planning for heavy-duty vehicles, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project. A high school diploma or GED is required, with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a Maintenance Planning or similar role with Heavy Duty Vehicles.
• The ability to read, understand and apply technical information from manuals, books, drawings and diagrams is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite to create tables, track data, and use Excel and Project.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the daily preparation of work orders
• Schedule maintenance for multiple shops in accordance with manpower and shop space availability to minimize delays and maximize asset availability
• Make parts availability inquiries to vendors and internal procurement team

Clean Harbors is looking for a Maintenance Planner to be located out of Baltimore, MD . We’re seeking a motivated individual to join our growing diesel repair team. • Project Management experience is preferred
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to professionally communicate verbally all levels and functions of the organization individually and as a team
• The ability to read, understand and apply technical information from manuals, books, drawings and diagrams is required
• Proficiency in computer usage is required, including the ability to use the Microsoft Suite to create tables, track data, utilize Microsoft Excel and Project
• Ability to stoop, stand for long periods, work at heights, feel with hands, reach and lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to travel 10% of the time as needed.
