Clean Harbors in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Maintenance Planner to support our diesel repair team. The role bridges between customers and technicians, coordinating planned maintenance and ensuring parts availability.

Candidates should have 3+ years in maintenance planning for heavy-duty vehicles, strong communication, and proficiency with Excel and MS Project. Travel up to 10% is expected, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience in a Maintenance Planning or similar role with Heavy Duty Vehicles.
• Project Management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to professionally communicate verbally at all levels and functions of the organization.
• The ability to read, understand and apply technical information from manuals, books, drawings and diagrams is required.
• Proficiency in computer usage, including the ability to use the Microsoft Suite to create tables, track data, utilize Microsoft Excel and Project.
• Ability to stoop, stand for long periods, work at heights, feel with hands, reach and lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to travel 10% of the time as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maximize operational profit through the use of effective planned maintenance
• Accountable for the daily preparation of work orders
• Make parts availability inquiries to vendors and internal procurement team
• Evaluate internal and vendor estimates
• Schedule all maintenance for multiple shops in accordance with manpower and shop space availability to minimize maintenance delays and maximize asset availability
• Will be required to travel up to 10% as needed
