Job summary

Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) in Enderlin, ND is seeking a Maintenance Planner to optimize maintenance work from the backlog using Maximo CMMS. You will develop plans to support reliability programs, drive improvements, and coordinate cross-functional activities for safe, efficient execution.

The role requires a two-year technical STEM degree or equivalent maintenance experience, with strong CMMS knowledge and GMP awareness. On-site position with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree in STEM preferred; equivalent maintenance experience considered.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Extensive knowledge of CMMS/Maximo system.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing plant operations and maintenance.
• Maintenance planning experience preferred; safety and GMP awareness.

Responsibilities

• Drive and support Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) adoption.
• Establish metrics from CMMS data and drive continuous improvement.
• Participate in RCFA root-cause analysis and prevention.
• Coordinate cross-department communication for RCMM implementation.
• Review scope of work; field walk-downs to determine time, materials, tools, and SOP needs.
• Enhance Maximo by expanding asset list and improving detail.
• Edit work orders for accuracy, documentation, and scheduling.
• Request and verify materials; ensure stock before work starts.
• Review backlog; lead backlog cleanup and weekly scheduling meetings.
• Group related work orders to optimize resource use.
• Incorporate feedback to streamline maintenance planning and KPIs.
• Support EHS, Quality, and Food Safety systems from a planning perspective.
• Assist Plant Operations; participate in on-call rotation.
