Job summary

Industrial in Alcoa, TN is seeking a Maintenance Planner to coordinate between production, engineering, and maintenance, ensuring work orders and maintenance plans stay aligned.

You will coordinate materials and tools, optimize touch time, and document outcomes in Oracle eAM while supporting Lean initiatives and safe work planning. 12-hour shifts are required with a 2/3/3/2 pattern and every-other-weekend work.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED.
• 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3-5 years planning and scheduling in a manufacturing setting.
• Mechanical/electrical background.
• US work authorization; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between production, engineering, and maintenance to align work orders and plans.
• Ensure accurate information on work orders and maintenance orders to optimize touch time for craft personnel.
• Identify, obtain, stage, and document materials and tools needed for each job to reduce downtime.
• Review completed work, schedule follow-ups, and update records for similar future work in Oracle eAM.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing tools to improve planning processes and support continuous improvement data entry.
