Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Planner to lead maintenance planning and coordination within a heavy industrial manufacturing environment in Alcoa, TN. You will work closely with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to ensure maintenance activities are properly scheduled and downtime is minimized, while guiding planners and crew leaders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance planning experience in manufacturing.
• 3+ years of maintenance leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience coordinating maintenance activities in industrial manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of preventive maintenance, work order management, and scheduling.
• Experience with CMMS software.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
• Review work orders to ensure necessary labor, parts, materials, tools, and procedures are identified.
• Coordinate materials and parts availability to maximize maintenance efficiency.
• Develop weekday, weekend, and planned outage maintenance schedules.
• Utilize CMMS software to manage work orders, maintenance records, and equipment documentation.
• Coordinate maintenance resources and monitor work completion to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Provide leadership and guidance to maintenance planners and crew leaders.
• Support mechanical troubleshooting, equipment repairs, and recurring maintenance issues.
• Coordinate contractors and ensure maintenance activities comply with established safety procedures.
• Provide maintenance supervisory coverage during vacations, staffing vacancies, and other operational needs.
• Identify opportunities to improve maintenance planning, scheduling, and equipment reliability.
