Job summary

ManpowerGroup's client in Alcoa, TN is seeking a Maintenance Planner to support production and maintenance teams, ensuring accurate work orders, material staging, and proactive scheduling.

You will apply Lean practices to improve maintenance processes, plan outages, coordinate safety considerations, and collaborate with engineering and operations on a rotating 12-hour schedule. This role offers a dynamic environment and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Ability to work 12-hour shifts on rotating schedule, including every other weekend.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate between production, engineering, and maintenance teams.
• Experience with data entry, record keeping, and documentation management.
• Knowledge of Oracle eAM or similar maintenance management systems preferred.
• Flexibility to work day or night shifts based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all information on Work Orders, Preventative Maintenance Orders, and Predictive Maintenance work is accurate and available to optimize craft personnel touch time.
• Identify, obtain, stage, and document materials, tools, or equipment needed for maintenance tasks, ensuring parts are pre-kitted to reduce downtime.
• Review completed work, schedule follow-up tasks, and update work information in Oracle eAM for continuous improvement.
• Utilize Lean Manufacturing tools and principles to enhance maintenance processes and efficiency.
• Maintain work schedules, plan outages, and coordinate safety, health, and environmental considerations prior to scheduling work.
