Job summary

Interfor is seeking a Maintenance Planner to coordinate, schedule, and optimize maintenance activities across our Baxley, GA operations. You will work closely with skilled tradespeople and leadership to maintain efficient, safe, and compliant mill operations.

The role emphasizes planning, CMMS/EAM system management, and continuous improvement to drive cost savings and productivity. A post-secondary technical degree or trade certification plus 3–5 years in maintenance planning is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of maintenance planning experience and understanding of preventative/predictive maintenance processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all maintenance activities, ensuring efficient workflows and minimal operational interruptions.
• Manage CMMS/EAM systems, maintain accurate records, and implement best practices for maintenance processes.
• Lead and support tradespeople, fostering productivity, safety, and effective communication across teams.
• Organize tools, materials, and contractors; develop job scopes, estimates, and schedules to meet operational needs.
• Analyze data, monitor performance, and drive improvements in maintenance efficiency, cost savings, and compliance.
