Job summary

Base, America’s next-generation power company, is seeking a Maintenance Planner to keep facilities and production lines running. You’ll develop preventive maintenance plans, schedule repairs, track parts, and ensure the right technicians are assigned at the right time.

You’ll work within the Facilities and Maintenance team at Base Factory, collaborating with technicians, vendors, and production leaders to minimize downtime and optimize cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in maintenance planning or scheduling in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Experience with CMMS (MaintainX, Maximo, SAP or similar).
• Comfort reading equipment manuals and basic mechanical/electrical schematics.
• Strong organizational skills; manage many work orders and prioritize.
• Clear communicator; act as liaison between technicians, vendors and production leaders.
• Equipment spare parts BOM experience.
• Spare parts crib management knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for facilities systems and production equipment.
• Turn maintenance requests into prioritized work orders.
• Track parts and spares inventory and prevent stockouts.
• Coordinate with technicians, vendors, and contractors to schedule work with minimal downtime.
• Maintain CMMS work orders, asset history, downtime records.
• Track maintenance costs and flag costly-to-fix equipment.
• Lead weekly planning meetings with maintenance and production leads.
