Job summary

SWEETENERS PLUS LLC is seeking an on-site Maintenance Planner in Lakeville, NY. The role focuses on planning and scheduling maintenance activities, coordinating with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to optimize uptime and minimize costs.

The candidate will maintain CMMS data, review work orders, and ensure proper materials, tools, and vendor coordination for planned maintenance. A bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Equivalent combination of education and related maintenance, maintenance planning, or industrial operations experience.
• 3+ years of direct maintenance, maintenance planning, reliability, or industrial operations experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial technology, maintenance management, or a related field preferred.
• Working knowledge of CMMS systems and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance planning and scheduling across departments to ensure prompt, efficient maintenance service.
• Own the maintenance work order process, review requests for completeness and business need.
• Identify and coordinate engineering reviews for design-related questions.
• Review planned work to determine the most effective execution method with stakeholders.
• Identify materials, tools, costs, and alternatives needed to execute planned work.
• Schedule planned work using preventive maintenance needs and department inputs.
• Maintain accurate work order data in CMMS/ERP with labor estimates and parts history.
