Job summary

Tampico Bottling Company in Palestine, Texas is hiring a Maintenance Planner to prioritize and plan maintenance tasks, manage the preventive maintenance program in a CMMS, and coordinate parts and inventory to improve equipment availability.

The role reports to the Maintenance Manager and focuses on CMMS management, parts coordination, and coordination with maintenance leaders to drive operational effectiveness while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in maintenance supervision, scheduling and planning in CPG manufacturing.
• Associate's degree in maintenance, electricity, engineering, automation, or related discipline.
• Ability to uphold safety and quality standards, drive continuous improvement processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule corrective and preventive maintenance activities by task and priority level, including vendor/contractor work.
• Review and validate all completed work orders for accuracy and quality of work.
• Estimate labor hours, skillsets, parts, materials, equipment and tools required for planned tasks.
• Develop and improve the preventive maintenance program in response to equipment performance and OEM recommendations.
• Develop, implement and manage the plant maintenance parts, supplies, and tools strategy.
• Maintain maintenance technical documentation for plant equipment and systems.
• Assist with CMMS administration, inventory control, and purchasing.
