Western Sugar Cooperative in Billings, MT, is seeking a Maintenance Planner to plan and schedule maintenance activities across our beet sugar facility. The role ensures safety, reliability and timely execution of tasks, coordinating with operations and maintenance teams and providing clear job scopes and permits.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical or maintenance engineering background with 3+ years of planning experience, CMMS and Power BI skills, SAP-HANA familiarity, and OSHA/GMP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Mechanical or Maintenance Engineering preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in maintenance planning and scheduling strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in performing and/or supervising maintenance activities is preferred.
• CMRP or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Experience with plant operations and industrial equipment and processes.
• Familiarity with CMMS, SAP-HANA, OSHA and GMP, BRC/SQF is preferred.
• Data analytics experience in Power BI or equivalent is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Plan and schedule all maintenance order activities while coordinating with plant operations and maintenance groups to minimize operational impact and maximize equipment availability.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules with the capital project team to ensure minimal conflict between capital projects and maintenance efforts.
• Create and modify preventative maintenance plans and schedules with input from maintenance staff.
• Ensure health and safety standards are included in maintenance plans and permits.
• Produce reports, KPIs, and presentations regarding maintenance order execution.
