Job summary

ASR Group, the world’s largest refiner and marketer of cane sugar, is seeking a Maintenance Planner in the Baltimore area. The role focuses on planning, scheduling and forecasting maintenance activities, coordinating with production, and driving reliable plant performance.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience, strong organizational skills, and experience with SAP and MS Office. Knowledge of GMP and safety policies is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility or equivalent military experience.
• Scheduling, planning, or similar inventory/PM program required.
• Experience operating SAP systems preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge required; Electrical knowledge preferred.
• Intermediate or better skills in Microsoft Office required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organization skills, attention to detail, proactive and self-directed.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Industrial food processing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily, weekly and monthly scheduling of maintenance plans.
• Execute the planned preventative maintenance schedule.
• Analyze maintenance repair specs to determine tools, parts and labor needs.
• Order parts according to lead times.
• Monitor parts inventory levels to maintain stock levels.
• Update SAP with preventative maintenance data.
• Communicate between maintenance and production teams.
• Monitor effectiveness of preventive maintenance to minimize plant downtime.
• Maintain good labor relations and team morale.
• Ensure compliance with GMP and safety policies.
