The International Motors San Antonio Manufacturing Plant is a benchmark facility that builds leading-edge commercial vehicles to meet the needs of today’s – and tomorrow’s – customers. This facility has the flexibility to build Class 6-8 trucks along with Electric Vehicles that allow International to add capacity to support anticipated industry growth. We are currently seeking a Maintenance Planner to join our team!
The Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning and implementing layout changes to plant, office, and production equipment to enhance operational efficiency, optimize facility and equipment use, and ensure regulatory compliance. This includes coordinating with architecture and engineering firms to develop design criteria, prepare detailed drawings, and manage bid sheets and contracts for construction and facility acquisitions. The specialist will also estimate costs for equipment, installation, labor, materials, and related expenses.
Additionally, the planner will monitor construction progress to ensure adherence to drawings, specifications, and schedules, while developing criteria and performance specifications to meet operational needs and comply with building and safety codes. The role requires technical expertise, project management skills, and a strong focus on cost control, safety, and compliance.
