Job summary

Hirebridge seeks a Maintenance Planner in Newberry, FL to reinforce equipment reliability and reduce downtime by thoroughly planning maintenance work for Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials.

The role involves on-site validation, drafting detailed task plans, coordinating with Purchasing and Maintenance teams, monitoring parts and budgets, and supporting monthly KPI targets through effective scheduling and planning.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment screening including physical, background check, and drug screen.
• Mechanical engineering experience preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in cement manufacturing or related industry as maintenance Inspector or Maintenance Planner.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) for safety incidents (accidents/near misses)
• Ensure contractor understanding, implementation, and consistent adherence to safe work rules and practices
• Develop detailed, step-by-step task plans within work orders to clearly define the sequence of maintenance activities.
• Determine the required manpower (number of personnel) and estimated duration for each task, including equipment downtime requirements.
• Conduct field visits to review and validate the necessity, feasibility, and alignment of work re-quests with current plant conditions.
• Allocate approximately 30% of time for on-site validation and 70% for work order management within the system.
• Assess the availability of all required resources (materials, tools, manpower) and proactively address any shortages.
• Provide support to Maintenance Coordinators in the development of weekly and outage sched-ules and maintenance programs.
• Support the Maintenance Manager in monthly budget tracking, performance reporting to the team, and the implementation of corrective actions for any deviations.
• Monitor the availability of defined critical spare parts according to criticality studies
• Maintain daily communication with the Purchasing department to track the progress of parts and supplies and prioritize critical orders.
• Provide feedback to the Reliability Coordinator regarding planning requirements for updating maintenance plans. Achieve target compliance for monthly KPIs related to planning and scheduling effectiveness.
