Job description

The Maintenance Planner plans and coordinates preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure that production assets are maintained and operating reliably.

You will be located onsite at PPG's Lake Charles Plant, LA plant, reporting to the Maintenace Superintendent. PPG/Qemetica offers excellent Medical, Dental, & Vision Benefits; matching 401k + retirement savings; and Paid Vacation, Holiday pay.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will work with maintenance technicians, operations, engineering, and procurement teams to support production goals while minimizing downtime.

• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance or manufacturing experience or prior planning experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Working knowledge of maintenance processes, equipment, and manufacturing operations.

• Ability to read drawings, manuals, P&ID's, and schematics
