Job summary

Protein Management Group in Ponca City, OK is seeking a Pack Tech to operate and maintain packaging equipment. The role requires basic mechanical and electrical skills and the ability to travel for outside training classes. Training will cover Ishida scales, Pac-mac baggers, and Triangle baggers.

The Pack Tech must complete daily PMs and work orders, document accurately, and comply with safety and food safety guidelines. Lifting up to 50 pounds and team lifts may be required.

Pack Tech

Location: Ponca City, OK 74601
Salary: $21.98 Hourly

Pack tech primary responsibility will be all critical packing equipment. Ishida scales, Pac-mac baggers, and Triangle baggers. Dorada will expect this position to be able to travel for outside training classes, be able to comprehend the training and be able to demonstrate the hands‑on abilities provided inside the training.

Physical Demands

Must possess strength, stamina and mobility to perform physical work in all conditions and with exposure to potentially hazardous conditions; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone or radio. Must be able to stand or be on his/her feet for long periods on hard surfaces. Will be required to perform continuous and repetitive motion, including lifting, pushing and pulling product and/or objects, as well as bending, twisting and reaching with the torso. The product or objects may weigh in excess of fifty pounds. Items in excess of 50 pounds require team lift. May work in either hot areas or refrigerated areas for long periods.
