Job summary

Viskase Companies, LLC in Tennessee seeks a Senior Maintenance Administrator to partner with Maintenance, Engineering, Production and Leadership teams to keep operations efficient and compliant.

You will manage maintenance data, reporting, purchasing, inventory, and documentation, helping drive reliability and continuous improvement across the plant.

The role offers cross-functional exposure, opportunities to optimize workflows, and a direct impact on plant performance.

Qualifications

• Required: high school diploma or GED and 5+ years in manufacturing administration.
• Strong Excel, data analysis, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Preferred: associate degree or technical certification; experience with SAP/CMMS/ERP/HRIS.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track maintenance work orders to support timely completion.
• Maintain equipment, maintenance, and cost records with accuracy.
• Assist with scheduling, reporting, and department administration.
• Serve as liaison between Maintenance, Production, Engineering, Purchasing, and HR.
• Support MRO inventory management and process purchase requests via SAP.
• Obtain vendor quotations, support purchasing decisions, and coordinate warranty claims.
• Maintain SDS/JSA documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Administer weekly payroll activities, attendance, overtime, and timekeeping reconciliation.
• Onboard new maintenance staff and support administrative processes for the team.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve workflow efficiency.
