Job summary

ID Logistics is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to inspect and repair material handling equipment and perform minor building repairs. The ideal candidate will adhere to GMPs, follow safety rules, and report noncompliance when observed.

Shift is Wed-Sat 6pm-4:30am with a $2 shift differential. Responsibilities include equipment setup, maintenance, and documentation; ensuring a clean, safe work floor; and validating components before production.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of electrical testing and repair of material handling equipment.
• Ability to operate forklift.

Responsibilities

• Performs equipment setup, operation, tests, calibrations, adjustments, and minor preventative maintenance tasks on production equipment.
• Maintains production machines and equipment, cleans equipment, and ensures work floor is clean, safe and well maintained.
• Assembles and tests all components to ensure equipment is safe and in working order before production.

Job Description

The Maintenance Mechanic position requires a skilled maintenance mechanic to inspect and repair material handling equipment and minor building repairs. Will follow corporate and site specific. Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed. In addition, the candidate will observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.

Shift: WED-SAT 6pm-4:30am

Salary range $25-28 per hour + 2.00 shift differential

• Performs equipment setup, operation, tests, calibrations, adjustments, and minor preventative maintenance tasks on production equipment.
• Maintains production machines and equipment, and cleans equipment, and ensures work floor are clean, safe and well maintained.
• Assembles, and tests all components to ensure all equipment is for safe and in working order before they are put into production.

Requirements

Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to effectively manage time and meet all specified deadlines.
Sound understanding of using all electrical testing and repair of Material Handling
equipment.
Ability to use efficiently various power and hand tools.
Ability to operate a forklift.
Should follow oral or written instructions.
Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.
High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of experience and education
Ability to stand, walk, bend, extend, reach, and twist for long periods of time.
