Job summary

Hilco Vision, a global eye care company, seeks an experienced Maintenance Operator for our Fairfield, OH facility. The role monitors equipment, performs quality checks, makes routine machine adjustments, clears minor jams, and assists with troubleshooting to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.

This full-time, on-site position operates on the first shift (6:30am–3pm) with occasional Saturdays and weekly pay.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate manufacturing equipment per SOPs.
  • Set up and monitor machines for proper operation and production.
  • Load materials into equipment as required.
  • Respond proactively to changes in machine performance.
  • Make routine machine adjustments within SOPs.
  • Identify and clear minor machine jams and issues.
  • Communicate equipment problems to maintenance or supervisors.
  • Maintain production efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Follow production schedules and customer specifications.
  • Meet production and efficiency targets.
  • Inspect products for defects (leaks, alignment, artwork).
  • Perform quality checks throughout production.
  • Follow all safety policies and wear PPE.
  • Keep work area clean and organized.
  • Report unsafe conditions promptly.
  • Follow procedures for handling equipment, materials, and products.
  • Collaborate with operators, leads, supervisors, and other departments.
  • Be flexible to assist in other areas as needed.
  • Participate in cross-training to learn additional equipment and processes.

Hilco Vision is seekingan experienced Maintenance Operator. Thesuccessful candidate is safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while contributing to a team environment. This positionmonitorsequipment performance, performs quality checks, makes routine machine adjustments, clears minor jams, andassistswith troubleshooting to minimize downtime andmaintainproduction efficiency.

This role is a full-time on-site role on the first shift, 6:30am-3pm at our Fairfield, OH location,occasional Saturday as needed.We pay weekly.
