Job summary

Serco Limited is seeking a Maintenance Operative in Blackburn to perform repairs and maintenance tasks across the AASC contract. The role includes reactive and planned works, with on-call duties on a rota basis to provide 24/7 emergency cover as required.

Candidates should have maintenance experience in joinery, plumbing, painting & decorating, and be capable of self-managing workflow while contributing to a team. A UK driving licence is essential and company vehicles are provided.

Qualifications

• Willingness and ability to travel within region and occasionally within the UK.
• Valid UK driving licence essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive and pre-planned repairs to required standard and SLA deadlines.
• Manage your own workflow while able to work in a team when needed.
• Ensure Health & Safety of yourself and all users during and after works.
