Arconic is currently in search of a Maintenance Operations Leader - Cast House to join our Global Rolled Products division in Lancaster, PA.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Operations Leader will oversee the planned and unplanned maintenance activities for the Mill’s production equipment. The role involves implementing and optimizing preventative maintenance programs to ensure high plant uptime and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to identify, implement, and document maintenance and reliability best practices, benchmarking with other Arconic locations and external companies.
• Reduce unplanned downtimes and improve the utilization and duration of planned maintenance.
• Utilize available resources to meet business objectives, collaborating across departments without compromising plant vitality.
• During repairs and outages, ensure detailed documentation of procedures, clearances, tolerances, and materials, and support contractor management.
• Maintain documentation of repair techniques, procedures, and training, and provide emergency technical support for critical operations.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with Production, SCM, Engineering, Planning and Scheduling, and EHS.
• Coach and develop team members, including succession planning for technical roles.
• Partner with HR to manage department-specific people systems such as performance management, rewards, and employee development.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and productivity improvements, especially regarding spare parts and supplies, partnering with Procurement.
• Ensure compliance with EHS standards; promote safety using Human Performance tools.

Qualifications

Required:

• HS Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
• At least 2 years of leadership experience in manufacturing
• At least 2 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing

Preferred:

• Advanced degree in Engineering, IT, or related technical field
• Experience in aluminum manufacturing
• 3+ years supervisory experience
• 5+ years maintenance experience
• 3+ years project management experience
