Under the supervision of the Maintenance Operations Manager, the Maintenance Operations Lead performs facility maintenance while coordinating daily assignments, guiding maintenance staff, and supporting the safety and functionality of Ampla Health facilities.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum five (5) years of building maintenance, facilities maintenance, construction trades, or related experience.
Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.
Knowledge of building repairs, maintenance equipment, and workplace safety.
Ability to safely operate power and hand tools, ladders, lifts, and landscape equipment.
Ability to read blueprints, manuals, and work orders; prioritize tasks; troubleshoot; and meet deadlines.
Proficient in maintenance work order systems and basic computer applications.
Neat and legible handwriting. Ability to interact courteously with patients and communicate effectively with the public.
Works indoors and outdoors across multiple clinic locations. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, climb, and reach; lift and carry up to 80 pounds; and access ladders, roofs, attics, crawl spaces, and elevated work areas. Must be able to operate vehicles, travel between clinics, and respond to after-hours emergencies as needed. Must be able to hear, speak, and communicate effectively in person, by radio, and telephone; read documents and computer screens; and possess high manual dexterity.
