Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum five (5) years of building maintenance, facilities maintenance, construction trades, or related experience.
• Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of building repairs, maintenance equipment, and workplace safety.
• Ability to safely operate power and hand tools, ladders, lifts, and landscape equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, manuals, and work orders; prioritize tasks; troubleshoot; and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in maintenance work order systems and basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Performs building repairs involving electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, flooring, drywall, roofing, and other components.
• Inspects facilities, responds to work orders and emergencies, and supports preventive maintenance, renovations, and groundskeeping.
• Assigns and prioritizes tasks, trains and guides staff, monitors work quality, and coordinates work orders and maintenance records.
• Promotes safety compliance, identifies hazards, maintains tools and equipment, monitors supplies, and assists with projects, staffing, and emergencies.
• Recommends operational improvements and performs other duties as assigned.
