Job summary

Solairus Aviation is seeking a Maintenance Operations Coordinator to work with the Manager of Maintenance Operations to ensure procedures and policies are followed during aircraft maintenance operations.

The role coordinates and schedules maintenance, audits paperwork, and monitors maintenance tracking programs to ensure compliance with FARs and Part 135. A high school diploma and FAA A&P license are required; Part 135 experience is preferred. Salary range is $65,000–$85,000.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant license is required.
• Related Part 135 experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Maintain base aircraft in accordance with the Company Manual, FARs and Part 135.
• Coordinate and schedule routine maintenance and required inspections.
• Audit return-to-service paperwork and maintenance tracking updates.
• Monitor and update Maintenance Tracking Programs.
• Audit aircraft maintenance for correct work scope, qualified personnel, proper tooling, and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Overview

Maintenance Operations Coordinator works with the Manager of Maintenance Operations or his delegate to ensure company procedures and policies are followed during aircraft maintenance operations.

Essential Responsibilities/Duties

• Ensures company base aircraft are maintained in accordance with the Company Manual, FARs and Part 135 regulations.
• Coordinates and schedules company aircraft to include routine maintenance and required inspections.
• Audits return to service paperwork, and maintenance tracking updates.
• Monitors and updates Maintenance Tracking Programs.
• Audits aircraft maintenance, inspection and repair for correct work scope, qualified personnel, proper tooling and appropriate equipment.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant License is required
• Related Part 135 experience is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
• Must be reliable, motivated, and able to work independently
