Job summary

Solairus Aviation is seeking a senior maintenance leader to manage and supervise maintenance on assigned aircraft, ensuring compliance with CFRs and FAA standards. The role requires a valid A&P certificate and 10+ years in corporate aircraft maintenance with strong budgeting and training coordination skills.

The ideal candidate will lead maintenance planning, control programs, and expenditure approvals while ensuring aircraft readiness and minimal schedule disruption at the KSJC zone.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid A&P certificate.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in corporate aircraft maintenance operations.
• Demonstrates knowledge of CFRs and aircraft maintenance standards.
• Proficient with planning, implementation, and direction of maintenance programs and control systems.
• Must be located or willing to relocate within 1 hour of KSJC.

• Coordinate maintenance training requirements with the DOM and/or CAM
• Develop a budget outlining and projecting financial expenses related to aircraft maintenance, parts & labor, tooling, equipment and base facilities
• Supervise and approve expenditures related to assigned aircraft
• Ensure operational readiness of the aircraft with as little schedule impact as practical

Requirements
