The Maintenance of Traffic laborer performs temporary traffic control operations to maintain safe and efficient traffic flow on roadway construction sites, complying with all relevant regulations and safety standards.

Essential Job Functions:

• Set up and maintain traffic control devices, signs, and lights
• Manage traffic control activities including detours and lane closures
• Coordinate with client representatives and officials
• Load, unload, and deliver equipment to and from job sites
• Supervise traffic control laborers to ensure compliance with MOT guidelines
• Provide recommendations for traffic management based on current conditions
• Complete daily reports and paperwork as required
• If licensed, operate company vehicles following safety standards

Desired Qualifications:

• At least 2 years in Maintenance of Traffic or related fields
• High School Diploma or GED; clear communication skills
• Advanced MOT Certification preferred
