Ketjen Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Millwright for its Bayport site in Pasadena, TX. The role focuses on safe maintenance and repair of mechanical rotating equipment, precision alignment, and interpretation of drawings and manuals.

Ideal candidates will bring 5+ years as a Journeyman Millwright, strong communication, and a track record of quality results in daily work activities. This on-site position follows a 9/80 schedule with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5 years of Journeyman Millwright experience.
• Experience in safe in-plant maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
• Able to read drawings and manuals and interpret maintenance instructions.
• Willingness to work straight nights 9/80 schedule.

Responsibilities

• Safe maintenance and repair of mechanical rotating equipment.
• Proper handling and installation of mechanical seals.
• Interpretation of mechanical designs and maintenance manuals.
• Use of a wide variety of hand, portable, and stationary power tools.
• Demonstrate root cause analysis approach to failures and generate reports accordingly.
