Job summary

Nestlé in Clinton, IA is seeking a Maintenance Millfitter Technician responsible for the maintenance of all plant systems, performing predictive and preventative maintenance to improve machine reliability and processes.

You will build understanding of plant equipment, diagnose failures, rebuild gear reducers and pumps, and perform Arc, Tig, and Mig welding. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years in industrial maintenance; overtime may be required.

• Build a solid understanding of plant equipment, procedures, material flow, etc.
• Diagnose mechanical reasons for failure.
• Breakdown, assess, and rebuild gear reducers and pumps.
• Perform Arc, Tig, and Mig welding procedures.
• Layout, fabricate, and install spouts, hoppers, transitions, and mechanical guards.
• Follow plant safety practices at all times.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair screw conveyors, belt conveyors, lift leap and pneumatic conveyance system.
• Work with vendors to improve plant maintenance practices.

As a Maintenance Millfitter Technician, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance of all plant systems. Our maintenance work include both predictive and preventative maintenance. Always working in a safe manner, you will play a major role in machine reliability and process improvements across the plant as you work collaboratively to make an impact on our processes.

Pay: $40.87 - $46.23 per hour

The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at top of range.
