Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing or equivalent training.
• Ability to perform physically demanding, labor-intensive tasks.
• Flexibility to work day, evening, and night shifts including overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Braze, weld, cut, solder and metalize to repair hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete log books and related reports.
• Make up slings and splices; perform heavy rigging; erect/disassemble scaffolding; use cranes and material handling equipment.
• Notify supervisors of irregularities; keep shop and work areas clean; observe safety rules.
• Familiar with power saws, drills, hammers, presses, grinders, ovens, dip tanks, balancers, meters and related tools.
